Architecture – Engineering – Interior – Landscape

The Seven Seas Headquarters building was design as part of a larger retail and commercial complex near the Seeb International Airport. The project covered the master-plan of the overall project, and the architectural, interior, and landscape design of the Headquarters building as the first phase. The design is a modern take on Omani Architecture and is configured in a manner that maximizes the use for a narrow plot at the edge of the complex. Cantilevered shading structures alone the south, East, and West facades minimize solar gain, while allowing for glass facades to maximize natural daylight within the offices. Strategically placed court spaces and wood trellises allow for the channeling of passing winds to reduce humidity within the outdoor spaces.
