Architecture – Landscape – Planning

Jebel Sifah is a six million square meter site of plateaus and mountain foothills 40 kilometers south of Muscat. To be developed as a getaway destination for Omani locals and foreigners alike, the masterplan design positioned a town center with workshops and retail near the neighboring village that would serve the hotels and residences while providing employment and services for the village residents. The architectural guidelines maintain low profiles for all structures and minimizes earth moving to respect the natural topography as much as possible while maximizing views throughout.

The project was designed in collaboration with WATG, London.
